I Just finished watching the movie "Romeo + Juliet", a movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio, as Romeo, and Claire Danes as Juliet. When I first began watching the film, I was caught off guard by the fact that it takes place in the modern day. They still speak in Shakespearian English, but the movie looks like it takes place in present day Southern California. The movie, at times, is incredibly over the top, and some of the acting on the part of some of the supporting characters could use work (especially Tybalt), but overall, I'd say this movie is a must watch for those looking for a very interesting and engaging way to pass the time. Acting is stupendous on the parts of both Leonardo and Claire. There is also quite a lot of BEEF in the movie, which instantly adds it to my incredible film list.
